Presented by Megan McMillan at AllTrain in Palmerston North, this half day workshop is aimed at business leaders and managers. It’s aimed at giving real world project management skills that you can take away and start implementing that afternoon.
While great for people wanting to successfully deliver the riskier parts of their business plan, it’s also good for those surprise changes that come up, such as those forced by technology, weather events and legislation. We talk about business cases and objectives, which include that doodles on your paper serviette.
Practical Project Management teaches the hands on basics of governance, inclusive planning, budgeting and running a project to tolerances, including risk management and business case justification.
After talking to people in Manawatu about what would make their businesses and community organisations more effective, Mango Projects has decided to hold a workshop to give people practical project management skills and a few useful templates.
The workshop is called Practical Project Management and is for business owners, managers and new project managers who want tools and methods to make their projects run smoothly. It runs over four hours.
